Jack leans against the back of an armchair, his weight on his uninjured arm. It still causes some pain where he was stabbed in the side, but there isn't much that doesn't right now.
"I don't remember it. The confrontation. Someone told me..." he swallows, his throat dry, "Someone told me that I kidnapped someone."
